What’s a struggle you have faced as a woman in the industry?
Being taken seriously or just being looked at as an equal to some of the male counterparts. I’m newer to the industry so, I think it is kind of a double whammy. see some of the guys in my position in other companies or within the company and I always second guess myself a little bit with that confidence, they’ve been around they know all these different people. Just making sure I’m not getting unnoticed because I’m a female or I’m newer to the industry. That is definitely a struggle that I’m working on.

What’s your favorite part about working in the industry?
The people. Just connecting with the people and honestly when I get a chance to be in stores. Seeing the customers and the patients actually enjoy our product. That is probably my favorite thing, “oh, I never tried Jeeter and I tried it last night and wow the flavors were amazing,” or, “I’ve never been that stoned and it was a great high.” | could be so tired and that will rejuvenate me immediately.

How do you empower other women in the cannabis industry?
Encouragement, I think really. Like I said, I’m newer to the industry so I always feel like I don’t know what’s going on necessarily. So, just making sure people feel comfortable and that they are listened to and heard and it’s not just that we are here to achieve this one thing. We are all here to lift each other up and achieve a common goal; to change peoples lives, to heal people that need healing.
