The struggles I have faced as a woman in the industry vary but, to simplify it, it involves the dismissal of my skill set and knowledge (hence being underestimated) due to the sheer fact that I am female bodied.
Why did you want to work in the cannabis industry?
I wanted to work in the cannabis industry because I had been a long time medical patient and wanted the opportunity to educate others on how healing the plant is.
How do you empower other women in the cannabis industry?
I empower women in the industry by creating a safe place: offering a place without judgment, with mutual respect, and a space where we can grow our skill set together.
