MEET THE HALO INFUSIONS TEAM! Phillip, Senior Software Engineer • How long have you been with Halo Infusions? Almost 2 years. • What is your title and main duties of your job? Senior Software Engineer. I lead projects for our custom software development especially in regards to our manufacturing. Also work on integrating our systems with other parts of the industry to streamline everyone else’s work! • What is the best advice you’ve ever received? “To never be too wedded to a single idea. To explore many different options.” • What do you love most about what you do? I like being able to influence many different parts of the process. From the consumer end to the basics of production! Love seeing the overall picture. • Favorite Halo product and why? I’m partial to the prickly pear lemonade. Tasty, can easily dose, and nice and southwestern. • Best part about working at Halo? Getting to be part of the team. Like in question 5, it’s awesome to see the whole process and talk to everyone about what they do. • Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you. I started as a dispensary manager and currently am the Accounts Payable and Procurement Manager • What is the best advice you’ve ever received? “Don’t take life too seriously, you’ll never get out alive!” • What do you love most about what you do? The diversity and the fact that every day is a challenge in an industry that is constantly changing. • Favorite Halo product and why? Our ointment because I’ve seen it provide immediate relief to patients. • Best part about working at Halo? Wholesale Engagement Manager: scheduling and coordinating dispensary promotions, industry events and samples. I also help manage Halo’s weekly delivery agenda. • What is the best advice you’ve ever received? “Life is like a carousel.” • What do you love most about what you do? Communicating with everyone I work with, including clients, I love being all on the same page. I find real enjoyment in seeing lots of people come together for a collective goal, like a choreographed dance. • Favorite Halo product and why? Our Canna Confections Belgian Chocolate Bars (specifically the Dark Chocolate). I love quality chocolate, especially a little before bed. The flavor and the effects are sublime! • Best part about working at Halo? I really enjoy the people I work with. MEET THE HALO INFUSIONS TEAM! Jay, Product Manager How long have you been with Halo Infusions? Almost 7 years now. What is your title and main duties of your job? I work as the Product Manager. One of my main duties is to help facilitate the development and creation of the new products to introduce to the market. How do you achieve success in your role? Success is largely dependent on having good communication with my peers and properly prioritizing the world of several projects that occur simultaneously. What is the best advice you’ve ever received? “When you do things right; people won’t be sure you’ve done anything at all.” – Futurama. What do you love most about what you do? I love supporting good people and a good product. Favorite Halo product and why? The new Sour Gummies or Flower Pops are probably my favorite because of their taste and plus the serving sizes are perfect for me. The 1:1 Glycerin Tincture also holds a special place in my heart. Best part about working at Halo? I love the level of empathy and passion from leadership. I love the dogs that are present in the office each day. And I love looking back and reflecting on how far we’ve come since 2015. Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you. I’ve bowled a 298 in a bowling tournament. Wholesale Sales Manager: I primarily manage our Sales Representatives and Sales Support staff but also work in tandem with other Halo departments. • What is the best advice you’ve ever received? “If you have a talent and aren’t sharing it then you’re denying people the chance to enjoy what makes you incredibly unique.” • What do you love most about what you do? MEET THE HALO INFUSIONS TEAM! Murray, Executive Director • How long have you been with Halo Infusions? From the very beginning. I think I may have turned on the lights. Seriously, all told, about 12 years. • What is your title and main duties of your job? I’m the Executive Director on paper, but I’m really just a member of the most amazing group of young people I have encountered in my career. They let me carry the flag, but our employees make up a really stellar team. They are the ones truly running the business! • What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Well, discounting the, “don’t wear shorts” advice, I guess it would be something my father used to say: “What ya’ gonna do?” It seemed to encapsulate the idea that when faced with a tragedy, challenge, or just disappointing event, remind yourself that “you can’t change everything, so don’t stress about it.” As westerners, we tend to fret too much about small stuff and forget the bigger picture. • What do you love most about what you do? The young people I have the privilege of working with. The chance to share life experience and lessons with each other and to learn about the world from one another. • Favorite Halo product and why? Well truth be told, I like them all. But my absolute favorite are our gummies. Using RSO-style extraction and not winterizing our source cannabis oil makes for a better full spectrum product. For years we’ve heard how they don’t give you the annoying hyper-buzz that comes from distillate, but rather a mellow, even, and frankly far more pleasant experience. • Best part about working at Halo?
